Kindergarten, Here We Come - Jan 2009

'Mysterious' one-on-one sessions with teachers prove to be opportunities to evaluate children’s developmental needs and provide support if and where needed. Four-year-olds in New Brunswick are being evaluated using the Early Years Evaluation – Direct Assessment (EYE-DA) during the year prior to kindergarten. Information from the EYE-DA helps teachers and schools prepare for incoming kindergarten students.
