Alma López

Alma has dedicated her professional career to educational assessment. After she got her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, in 1996 at the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila, she began to work in the Assessment Education Department in Aguascalientes, Mexico. This first experience served her to recognize the importance of collaborate to improve education.

Then, Alma earned the Master’s Degree in Educational Research, with honours, studying from 2005 to 2007 at the Universidad Autonoma de Aguascalientes. After completing her masters she become part of the Federal Department of Educational Assessment (INEE) team. Her experience includes middle schools and high schools assessment, but her primary focus is in kindergarten assessment; which contributes to her aptitude for consulting new EYE users in the implementation process.

Currently, Alma is an active member of The Learning Bar team as an Account Success Manager for Hispanic clients. Alma collaborates in the developing of EYE in Spanish and offers spanish training for evaluators.

Claire Watton

Claire Watton joined The Learning Bar Inc. as a Research Assistant in May 2014. Claire completed both an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University in 2012.Most recently, Claire completed a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Guelph during which she wrote a thesis exploring the relationship between school engagement and mental health among adolescents.
